Foam rolling can be very beneficial for anyone that exercises. Foam rolling is a form of muscle fascia release, similar to getting a massage and when done consistently, allows tendons and muscles to recover more quickly after exercise. Foam rolling helps decrease inflammation and promotes blood flow to the muscle.
During the month of March we will be offering free 30-minute foam rolling classes. A fitness staff member will demonstrate how to target important areas of the body to foam roll. No need to sign up in advance and members are free to come as often as they’d like. Foam rollers will be available to use during class. The classes will be held in the fitness classroom on:
- Wednesdays 7:30-8am
- Wednesdays: 10:30-11am
- Fridays 4:30-5pm
