Do you have what it takes to be a Total Athlete? You can find out in this month!

During the month of May you are invited to participate in the Total Athlete Challenge. You will have the entire month of May to complete seven of the eight events in the Rec Center Records (posted on Information Center). In order to accomplish this challenge, you DO NOT have to break the standing records, but attempt all of them in a safe manner, to the best of your ability. Once you do so, you will receive a really cool t-shirt, showing that you are a ‘Total Athlete’!

Remember, you are competing against yourself. In order to keep the challenge consistent, it is required that participants schedule three or four 15 to 30 minute appointments with a fitness staff member. Keep in mind, this is supposed to be challenging!

If you would like help with perfecting your form, or are not sure how to perform a particular event, please schedule an appointment with a fitness staff member who will be happy to get you started.
